Apartamentos Muralla Ziri are the product of the recent renovation of Casa Albero and Casa Roja taking inspiration from the Moorish époque and combining it with the best of contemporary design. The result is a striking and luxurious apartment house where the attention to detail is superb.

Nothing has been forgotten; from the exquisitely decorated Moorish arches to the geraniums on the balconies.

There are 12 apartments, several with impressive views of the Alhambra, the Generalife and Sacromonte, and of course they are all within easy walking distance of these and the other famous monuments of Granada. All the apartments are fully equipped for a luxurious stay in Granada, with air-conditioning and underfloor heating, plasma TV with 60 international channels, free access to the internet, ornate Italian silverware, comfortable beds, the list goes on…..

Everything has been thought of to create a modern environment within the Andalucian architectural heritage: the bedrooms are decorated with Andalucian arches and elaborate plasterwork, there are hand-crafted beds with quality mattresses, the patio with a marble column from the 17th century, the entrance with its grenadine paving.

Then, when all the history of Granada has finally exhausted you, the hammam offers a place to rest and relax, perhaps with a massage, a Turkish bath or in the Jacuzzi. Soft lights, flickering candles, fluffy towels and the aroma of lavender.

Why the name Muralla Ziri? Because the two historic houses that form the Apartamentos Muralla Ziri include parts of the city wall (muralla) that was built in the 11th century under the Moorish rule of the Ziri dynasty.

Restaurant:

Each apartment has a kitchen area, plus it is possible to order a basic breakfast service on the first day. There are many bars and restaurants nearby for anything from a snack to a top class dinner.

The hammam is located in the Casa Roja, a restored building from the 17th century that incorporates part of the first city wall of Granada, dating from the 11th century.
After passing through the Andalusian style patio there is the hammam where you could envolve yourself in the jacuzzi bubbles or enjoy a Turkish bath in the hararet (steam room located underneath the historic wall). Once finished, rest on the warm marble benches of the gobek taki or to have a massage. Massage menus include therapeutic massage, reflexology and shiatsu.
Murall Ziri also offers wine from their own cellar, Spanish and flamenco classes, ski-ing and diving instructors and visits to a serrano ham producer in the Alpujarras.

Standard There are 3 standard apartments ideal for couples or a small family. There is one double bed bedroom, lounge with sofa bed and a completely equipped integrated kitchenette.
