In the guest rooms, the traditional style has been complemented by modern comforts whilst every care has been taken to preserve the original character of the building. Each room has a fully equipped bathroom, central heating, air conditioning, TV and minibar. As well as the comfortable lounge laden with books and magazines about Ronda, and the separate billiard room, San Gabriel offers an intimate little café-bar that serves breakfast and also drinks and ham and cheese snacks in the evenings. The wine cellar is also a cosy little place to take an aperitif before going out to dinner.
There is a quiet little patio with plants and a fountain, so peaceful that one guest was moved to write "for a moment, at least, you can almost hear Spain's heartbeat." Uniquely, this hotel also has its own tiny cinema, complete with seats that once adorned the grand theatre in the centre of Ronda.
Restaurant:
The owners say, modestly "We only have a cafe." True, but it is an elegant room in which to take breakfast or an evening drink. For dinner, the hotel is only a minute from a variety of excellent restaurants and a multiplicity of tapas bars.A Word From the Owner:
"Visit us, and feel the charm of San Gabriel, which has been our family home for so many years. We would like you to feel that San Gabriel is your own "home in Ronda". Enjoy the silence of our town and its friendly, peaceful ambience. It will be a pleasure to have you here."Hotel Amenities:

The Serrania de Ronda is an area of outstanding natural beauty, ideal for all sorts of outdoor activities.
Ronda is surrounded by four national parks, all within easy distance.
Take a drive through the Pueblos Blancos, the typical sugar-cube villages of Andalucía.
The beaches of the Costa Del Sol are less than an hour away, and that is a beautiful drive too, on easy roads.
There are several caverns around the area that are open to the public.
What We Say:
While you are staying in Ronda, take a walk down into the Tajo gorge to look back at the spectacular chasm and bridge. You'll get a view like the photo on the right. It's a bit of a scramble, but well worth the effort. San Gabriel, incidentally, is just behind the houses at top right.Customer Feedback:
"You have a beautiful house in a special place. We won't forget you, and we have every intention of returning."
"A magic place in a magic place. Refinement and quality at a reasonable price."
"When you enter the Hotel San Gabriel, it's like entering your own home. You breathe in an atmosphere of welcome. All this is made even better by the beautiful surroundings which are such a delight when you arrive in this little corner of the world."
