Font Salada is a hotel where you can enjoy the Costa Blanca, free of the concrete and high-density building that afflicts some parts. Here you are well-connected, yet in the middle of nature, just one kilometre from the sea and only a short car journey from the mountains of inland Alicante. The simple rustic shape of the building is typically “valenciano”, and great care has been taken to assure it’s eco-credentials, both in the materials used in the construction and reconstruction, and in the optimum use of solar and wind energy.

The Font Salada hotel sits at the centre of a family farm, surrounded by over four hectares of gardens and orange groves. It’s an ideal place for a family holiday, offering extensive lawns, a large pool (with a special leg for those dedicated to “doing lengths”), a children’s play area and and occasional outside concerts in the summer. The restaurant provides excellent organic cooking with many rice dishes and many suitable for vegetarians. Beneath the restaurant is a surprising bodega housing the hotel’s ample supply of Spanish, and especially Valencian, wines.

The nine guestrooms (soon to be a few more) are well-appointed, homely and comfortable, including a writing desk, heating, air conditioning, satellite television and a welcoming bowl of fruit. The Special rooms have either a balcony or a terrace. Some of the new rooms will be adapted for disabled access.

As well as the white sandy beaches of the coast, this hotel is conveniently located for the nearby Oliva-Pego natural park and it’s hot mineral springs known as ...."Font Salada".

Restaurant:

Font Salada’s small restaurant is pretty mix of rustic textures and bright colours, a warm and homely environment in which to enjoy the Valencian dishes in which they specialise, meat, fish, vegetarian, starters, desserts and excellent Valencia wines.

There is so much to do here: choose from the beaches, the inland mountains, or just loafing by the pool. You're never far from resorts along this piece of coast, but Font Salada allows you to step back a little.

Cancellations:

Cancellation must be received in writing (fax or e-mail) no later than 7 days before arrival. Cancellations at less than 7 days notice, early departures and no-shows will be charged the full amount, though the hotel will occasionally waive this if the booking is moved to another date.
