the hotel is built around a magnificent central patio with broad galleries, making it a delightful place to relax whatever the weather or time of year.
The hotel retains the original baroque façade which is key to the whole essence of the building. It is extremely well-preserved in an original state with old wooden roof beams and stone arches. The Spanish civil baroque style reached a zenith at about the time the Palacio Marques de la Gomera was built, and this is reflected well in the elaborate decoration which adorns the hotel.
Each one of the twenty guest rooms is different, furnished entirely in keeping with the history of the house, yet brought bang up to date with air-conditioning, television and free wifi internet.
Palacio Marques de la Gomera is situated in the famous Calle San Pedro, where it shares its address with many other magnificent baroque houses that were once homes to the noble families of the area. It is a street that is appreciated equally by film-makers and Unesco, who have labelled it one of the most beautiful streets in Europe.
In addition to the immediate environment of the hotel, the ancient Roman amphitheatre is only 500m away, and both Seville and Cordoba are little more than an hour by car.
Restaurant:
The restaurant is divided into separate rooms, all with slightly varying characters. Traditional regional dishes of Osuna are on offer, such as oxtail in red wine and pickled partridge.Hotel Amenities:

What We Say:
Franco Zeffirelli filmed Carmen in San Pedro Street and other parts of Osuna. The director and stars (including Jeremy Irons) stayed in the Hotel Palacio Marques de la Gomera, with Zeffirelli himself choosing Room 7 with the large elaborate baroque balcony overlooking the street. From the Guestbook:
"If you want to really treat yourself, spend a romantic night here."
"The hotel is perfect. The rooms are lovely and very well decorated. They are spacious, with a big bathroom too."
