Hotel Iturregi combines the charm of a rural hotel with the comfort and sophistication of a luxury hotel. Surrounded by vineyards and with breathtaking views of the Getaria lighthouse and the Basque coast, Iturregi offers guests a space full of peace and tranquility in the middle of the nature. The hotel is situated 2 kilometres from Getaria, a small fishing village on the Bay of Biscay, 20 kilometres from San Sebastian and 60 kilometres from Bilbao.

The hotel offers 6 double rooms and 2 suites, decorated by designer Daniel Rotaeche.  Each room has been decorated with different styles, fabrics and furniture, creating a warm and sophisticated environment that is both modern and traditional at the same time. The state-of-the-art bathrooms are similar masterpieces of style, that blend so well with their bedrooms. Each room is named after a nearby village or mountain: Orio, Azkizu, Zarautz, Getaria…

One really unique feature that Iturregi offers is the stunning swimming pool, built within the ruins of the original farmhouse. The pool is open from June to September, but the garden and pool area make a nice place to rest and relax at almost any time of year.

Iturregi is a lovely hotel in a lovely location, very peaceful.

Restaurant:

Iturregi offers a healthy breakfast with homemade and local products; fresh fruit, local cheese, fresh egg omelettes, homemade yoghurt, freshly baked croissants…Breakfast is served in the dining room with large bay windows that offer stunning views of the Basque coast. In summer it can also be served on the terrace.

There is no restaurant for lunch or dinner but room service offers a small selection of high quality dishes that can be served in the bedroom or the dining room.

There are several beaches (Getaria, Zarautz, Zumaia…) 5 minutes drive from the hotel.
San Sebastian, is 25 minutes by car. You can try the famous pintxos (tapas) in many bars. In the centre of San Sebastian, find out why this city was the favourite summer location of the royal family.
Surfing: Try surfing in the famous Zarautz waves, or try Mundaka or the French coast near Biarritz.
Golf: Basozabal, Zarautz courses are very close from the hotel. You could also try some courses just across the border in France, just 1 hour drive away.
Walking, cycling, horse-riding. Guipuzcoa has amazing countryside.

Every once in a while, a hotel really grabs my attention, and this is one of them! It's probably a combination of the effortless style of the interior, the beautiful swimming pool, and the stunning coastline and countryside all around.

Deposit:

In Low Season, there is no deposit. Just a credit card number is required to confirm a reservation. In Mid and High Season the hotel charges a non-refundable deposit equal to the first night.

Cancellations:

In Low Season cancellation must be received in writing (fax or e-mail) no later than 48 hours before arrival. Cancellations after that time will be charged 50% of the stay.
In Mid and High Season the deposit is not refundable. Cancellations with less than 7 days notice will be charged 50% of the stay.
