It was the dream of the owners to live in the countryside, close to the sea, so they went ahead and did it. Es Cucons was their project. The restoration was challenging, but they have succeeded to a degree that might have been quite unimaginable when they began. They have converted an old finca, dating right back to 1652, into a charming small family hotel. In so doing they have created a refuge for lovers of beautiful buildings, for travellers who seek nature, luxury, romance, relaxation, and of course, the pleasure of good food.

Es Cucons is situated on the northwest side of the island in Plà de Santa Agnès de Corona, quite close to Cala Salada beach yet an easy drive from Ibiza town and the airport. This is the heart of rural Ibiza. Here, from any part of the hotel, you can enjoy beautiful views of the Corona valley, with its famous almond trees and plentiful harvest. The spectacular almond blossom season, in January and February, has resulted in the valley being designated a Rural Area of Special Interest (ANEI) and a Rural Area of Landscape Interest (ARIP). Walking, cycling and hiking paths start from the hotel front doors: Route d'es Falcó, the cliffs of Ses Balandres with views to Ses Margalides islands, Route d'es Plà de Corona ….

In the main building there is a "porxo", a welcoming place for the visitors, a meeting area and a lounge. There is a library with space for reading, TV and fireplace, a bar with cocktail service and a restaurant, where you can enjoy seasonal dishes prepared with care and imagination. There is a large swimming pool for adults and a smaller one for children both carefully integrated into the landscape of the garden. The hotel has availability of a wide range of beauty, health and spa treatments including yoga and pilates.

Es Cucons has 14 rooms: 7 doubles, and 7 suites. Each is equipped with full en-suite bathroom, hair dryer, air conditioning, central heating, direct telephone line, satellite TV with DVD, mini bar and a safe. All the Suites and Junior Suites have a fireplace and DVD/CD equipment. The Superior Suite is a full 70 m2 in size, with one bedroom, a living room, open kitchen fireplace, 2 bathrooms, satellite TV with DVD, and Play Station and CD equipment. There is also a room adapted for a disabled guest. Every room is different in architectural style and decorative detail, but they are all bound by a common theme: the natural elements of an Ibizan country finca.

There is a romantic candle-lit restaurant serving meals prepared with fresh ingredients from the market.

Junior Suite Junior Suite 4. This room is very romantic and is located in the main house. This room is very popular for honeymooners as there is a four-poster bed with beautiful floaty curtains and a lovely terrace with chill-out bed and sunbeds. Junior Suite 10: Located on the first floor the room has a Moroccan theme with terracotta tiled floors, floaty white curtains, hand-painted lampshades, heavy wooden shutters and fringed burnt-orange cushions. The bed is cosy and comfy, made up with Egyptian cotton bedlinen and a heavy traditional bedspread. A special element of the room is the claw-footed bathtub, separated from the bedroom by beautiful linen curtains. With bath oil, salts or petals to bathe in, and candles sitting on the windowsill, it is wonderfully romantic. Separate walk-in shower and spectacluar views to the valley from the terrace. Junior Suite 11: Located on the first floor with terrace and views, it´s the most comfortable junior suite with large Queen size bed and a small sitting room with armchairs and fireplace. Patio Suite, Garden Suite Patio Suite. Located in the old stables, this room has exposed stone walls and terracotta tiled floor. Two bedrooms separated by white linen curtains and a dressing room. The terrace is surrounded by stone walls with views to the valley. Chill-out bed, table, chairs and outdoors fire. Garden Suite. There are two Garden suites at the hotel with a beautiful large private garden, sunbeds, etc. There is a small living room and a bedroom (very romantic one white and blue colours and a square mosquito net (just for decoration!). Superior Suite Huge, 60m2 in total. The large living room has a double sofa bed, TV, DVD, kitchenette (no cooking, but with sink, fridge and electric kettle), one bathroom with shower. Honeymoon Suite Set apart from the rest of the hotel, the Honeymoon Suite is totally private and has amazing views from the terrace. Outside, there are tables and chairs, sauna and a hot tub and an outdoor shower; inside, a kingsize bed and ensuite bathroom with a walk-in rain shower. The colour scheme is ultra soothing: clean white walls and bedlinen offset by violet and indigo curtains and cushions. Cancellation must be received in writing (fax or e-mail) no later than 20 days before arrival.
