Step through the doors of CasaCinco, and you will encounter modern hospitality in a setting of simple informal good taste, perfect for today’s discerning traveller. A private house hotel in Vejer de la Frontera, CasaCinco reflects the experiences and tastes of the owners who have filled the house with ideas and artefacts they have gathered from all around the world. Small hotel in Vejer, Costa de la Luz

CasaCinco is a townhouse with a Moorish past that was once a run-down ruin. Sympathetically restored, it retains many original features, including its internal Arabic style ‘Riyadh’, a cool oasis on hot days and open to the moon and stars at night. The house is in one of Vejer’s cobbled, traffic-free streets and is just a short walk from the town’s main amenities.

The decoration blends traditional with contemporary for an eclectic, individual and relaxing environment. At CasaCinco you’ll experience relaxed but personal service, in stylish and comfortable surroundings. All five rooms have double beds, 100% Egyptian cotton sheets, CD players (no TVs though, to ensure that your stay is totally restful and relaxed), open plan en-suite shower or bathrooms and holistic bathtime treats. The reading room is a cool hideaway laden with art books, style magazines, guide books and also houses the honesty bar where champagne, wine, beer and soft drinks are always available.

The newly refurbished roof terrace has a shady ‘chill-out’ area, comfortable sun beds and stunning views – the ideal location for a restful siesta or a spot of sunbathing.

Vejer has all the typical amenities of a Spanish country town, including some of the area’s most renowned restaurants, cafe bars, artisan and antique shops and a smattering of historical monuments.

Restaurant:

The CasaCinco kitchen provides a healthy but filling breakfast using local produce. Freshly squeezed juices, cereals, fresh fruit, proper tasty breads and pastries, classic Spanish cheeses and cold meats, and eggs prepared any way you would like them. A meal to set you up for the day!

A Word From the Owner:

"Our aim at CasaCinco is to provide a contemporary bed and breakfast experience. We’re told we’ve created something unusual, as one guest said, “It’s a stylish but informal home from home. The service is helpful but unobtrusive and you know you’re in a well loved home, not a hotel." Our aim was to save this traditional house, keeping as many features as we could so that others could enjoy it. None of our rooms are the same, each has some little feature and doors aren’t even standard sizes. Everyone at CasaCinco wants our guests to have a great stay but we don’t claim to offer the services of a big chain hotel, which we’ve found a lot of guests are trying to get away from."
