It's hard to imagine anything much better than lounging by the poolside here, while just beyond the gardens and terraces are the traditional orchards of the Ibiza countryside. Even the traditional water deposit of the farm's old irrigation system remains, now providing both life-giving water to the trees and a special ambience of charm to the hotel terraces.
The large swimming pool is cleverly designed with something for everyone. There is a long narrow strip for those who want exercise and a jacuzzi pool for those who, well, don't! There are lots of terraces with parasols and sunbeds, further surrounded by gardens which mix traditional with a touch of zen.
Indoors the rooms are fresh and modern, painted in delicate pastel colours, accented by touches of brilliance to ensure that nothing becomes bland. Each of the bedrooms follows the same taste in colours and decor, and each provides plenty of space including a little porch or balcony. As well a the double rooms, there are junior suites, suites and the large Manzano Suite with two rooms, a slate bathroom and a large hydrotherapy bath. All the bedrooms have a full bathroom with jacuzzi bath, air-conditioning and heating, flat screen television and a minibar.
Although a car is always good for exploring the island, Can Jaume is so well-located for Ibiza Town and the airport that it’s really not essential.
